EMI 203 ( England, 1962)

A 4 1/2" Image Orthicon Broadcast camera. The design was driven by the specification drawn up by the BBC. This resulted in this camera and the Marconi Mk 4.

Three of these will form the main part of my museum, they will be set up as a studio from the mid 60’s. A fourth one will be used for hands on by visitors, this one is beyond rebuilding, so will appear to be functional with a vidicon camera taking the place of the original IO tube and yoke.
